Ursula X. Young

San Francisco-infused urban fairytale illustrations and lush flowery doe-eyed girl paintings are the trademark of Ursula Xanthe Young’s work, which can be seen on everything from large murals, to apparel, to club flyers and 12″ record covers. Her largest painting to date hangs on the 36th floor of the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco. Graduate of Parsons School of Design and avid traveler, Ursula now resides and creates in Northern California, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada’s. Artist Statement

Street artist, illustrator, painter, muralist, designer – I try to be all of the above. Most recently, I have been busy creating murals around the country and I’m part of an all-female collective called Few and Far who get together to paint large collaborations. I also show and sell my work in galleries mainly in the Bay Area and I am in my 6th year as Art Director of a small but consistently awesome summer music festival on the feather river in Northern California.
